Susie
Office Manager

As Office Manager, Susie keeps our office running smoothly.

Susie plays a critical role in building good relations within the dental team. Her enthusiasm for organizing events gives our team (and patients) plenty to celebrate, including the 5th anniversary party in 2009 and the 10th anniversary party in 2014.

Susie also enjoys being involved in the community. Since 2007, she has organized the Sports Mouthguard Clinic in support of KidSport.

She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science.

When not busy working, Susie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, travelling with her family, volunteering at her children's schools, playing tennis, watching good movies and scrapbooking.

Michelle
Receptionist

Michelle was born and raised in Port Hope, and started her Dental Career in this very office. After many years working in Toronto, it was time to "come home". It's exciting to meet new patients and re-connect with so many others that she hasn't seen in a few years !!!

Nancy
Receptionist

Nancy was born and raised in the beautiful town of Port Hope. She has been in the dental field for 12 years. She is thankful to be able to help Dr. Benedict and team create beautiful smiles.

Amanda
Receptionist / Dental Assistant Level I

She graduated from the Dental assistant program at Trillium College in 2009. In the dental field, she has learned many things as an assistant and a receptionist. She is very excited to learn and grow with Dr. Benedict and the Port Hope Dental team.

When not at the office, she enjoy spending time with her husband, 2 kids, and 2 cats at their trailer.

Emily
Dental Assistant

Emily graduated in 2013 from Trillium College in the CDA level II Dental Assisting Program. Emily is committed to excellence in patient care. Her kind and compassionate manner will immediately put you at ease. She strives to make each patient visit to the dental office a memorable and pleasant one.

Elisha
Dental Hygienist

Elisha has been in dentistry for over 20 years - 11 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist upon graduating in 2009. She was previously a Certified Dental Assistant.

She lives in Bowmanville with her husband Mike and their three children. In her spare time, she loves to read and go camping in the summer.

Catherine
Dental Hygienist

Catherine received her Registered Dental Hygienist Degree from Canadore College in 1999. Before joining the team, she practiced in Scarborough for over 10 years. She is a member of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) and Ontario Dental Hygienists' Association (ODHA).

Catherine, along with her husband and 2 children, enjoys travelling - they have gone as far north as Iceland and travelled through the Caribbean and Europe. As a family, they enjoy board games, playing in the pool, and live theatre. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, she was active in the Scarborough Underwater Club as a volunteer and scuba diver.

Aside from her work in the dental field, she enjoys swimming, snorkelling, gardening, crossword and Sudoku puzzles. Currently, her favourite author is Clive Cussler. Her newest project is going to be renovating her new home.
