Susie
Office Manager

As Office Manager, Susie keeps our office running smoothly.

Susie plays a critical role in building good relations within the dental team. Her enthusiasm for organizing events gives our team (and patients) plenty to celebrate, including the 5th anniversary party in 2009 and the 10th anniversary party in 2014.

Susie also enjoys being involved in the community. Since 2007, she has organized the Sports Mouthguard Clinic in support of KidSport.

She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science.

When not busy working, Susie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, travelling with her family, volunteering at her children's schools, playing tennis, watching good movies and scrapbooking.

Alexis
Receptionist

Alexis graduated from Durham College in 2019. She is born and raised in Northumberland County. Alexis enjoys fitness, getting out for walks with her dog Bo and spending time with her family. As a new member of Dr. Benedict's team she is looking forward to getting to know all of the great patients here!

Nancy
Receptionist

Nancy was born and raised in the beautiful town of Port Hope. She has been in the dental field for 12 years. She is thankful to be able to help Dr. Benedict and team create beautiful smiles.

Amanda
Receptionist / Dental Assistant Level I

She graduated from the Dental assistant program at Trillium College in 2009. In the dental field, she has learned many things as an assistant and a receptionist. She is very excited to learn and grow with Dr. Benedict and the Port Hope Dental team.

When not at the office, she enjoy spending time with her husband, 2 kids, and 2 cats at their trailer.

Emily
Dental Assistant

Emily graduated in 2013 from Trillium College in the CDA level II Dental Assisting Program. Emily is committed to excellence in patient care. Her kind and compassionate manner will immediately put you at ease. She strives to make each patient visit to the dental office a memorable and pleasant one.

Becky
Dental Assistant

Becky graduated Dental Assisting I and II at Durham College in 2017 and has worked in Pickering for the past 6 years. Outside of the office, Becky enjoys spending time with family and friends and doing outdoor activities with her 2 kids.

Amanda B
Dental Hygienist

Amanda graduated from Cambrian College's Dental Hygienist program in 2004 and currently resides in Port Hope. Her professional goal is to positively promote oral health and overall health for the residents of Port Hope and beyond. In her spare time, she is focusing on completing her RYT-200 Yoga Instructor course. Her other hobbies include cooking, traveling, and spending time hiking/skiing in Quebec's Eastern Townships where her and her husband have a cottage.

Ashley
Dental Hygienist

I'm Ashley, a dedicated dental professional with over a decade of experience in the field. My journey began during high school, where I completed co-op placements at my family's dental office, which evolved into an after school job. This early exposure sparked my passion for dentistry. I applied to Durham College for their Dental Assisting program, since graduating in 2014, I spent three rewarding years as a full-time assistant. Driven by my commitment to oral health, I pursued further education in Dental Hygiene, graduating in 2019 from Durham College and earning the Golden Scaler Award. Beyond my professional life, I cherish time with my family, sharing our love for outdoor activities and soccer. We're devoted Manchester United supporters!

Fatima
Dental Hygienist

Fatima has been a registered Dental Hygienist for 18 years. She moved to the Port Hope area this past summer with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys being in nature and spending time with family and friends. Fatima enjoys helping others through the health care and education she provides here at Port Hope Dental. She looks forward to connecting with many more of Port Hope's kind residents.
